Loredana Salanta is the winner of the 18th Top Model of the World. The final took place in March 2011 in Usedom (Germany). She was crowned by Carolina Loredana Salanta Romania - Top Model of the World.

Beauty Italyan Model of The World, Luna Voce

Luna Voce, a model from Italy, won the title of Top Model of the World 2012 during an event held at the Hohensyburg casino in Dortmund, Germany, on March 10th. She competed in the Miss International 2008 and Miss Earth 2009 pageants.

The 1st runner-up was Zimbabwe’s Malaika Mushandu, who is the reigning Miss Zimbabwe and was a Top 15 finalist in the Miss World 2011 pageant held in London, last November. The 2nd runner-up was Colombia’s Melina Ramirez Serna (21).

Denmark and Venezuela completed the Top 5.

Top Model of the World

The Top Model of the World is an international search for the ultimate model. The sought-after characteristics are: independence, talent and fashion consciousness. The event started in 1993 in Miami, organised by the Globana Group, now it is owned by World Beauty Organization.

In 1996 the competition was held outside the USA for the first time. The host was Germany. In 2005 it was held for the very first time in Asia, in China. In a spectacular open air show the final of the 2005 event took place in the Humen Park with over 10,000 spectators and the winner was Dominika van Santen from Margarita Island, Venezuela. The event was broadcast live with over 360 million viewers worldwide. In 2006 it was held in Kunming, China. There, Dominika van Santen crowned her successor Natália Guimarães from Brazil.

Beautiful British Glamour Models of Danielle Lloyd

Danielle Lloyd (born 16 December 1983) is an English glamour model. The former Miss England 2004 and Miss Great Britain 2006, she first rose to prominence when she was stripped of her Miss Great Britain 2006 title after posing for nude pictures featured in the December 2006 edition of Playboy magazine and her alleged affair with one of the pageant's judges, her then-boyfriend, footballer Teddy Sheringham. Her title was reinstated in 2010.

As a participant in the 2007 series of Celebrity Big Brother, Lloyd, along with others, were accused of using bullying tactics and making racist comments directed against the Indian actress Shilpa Shetty. She won the celebrity edition of The Weakest Link in 2008 and Total Wipeout in 2010.

Lloyd was born in Liverpool, England, the daughter of Jackie and Arthur Lloyd, a bank manager and engineer respectively. At the age of three months, Lloyd contracted whooping cough, resulting in damage to her lungs, this led to her developing asthma. Lloyd claims she was bullied in school; however, Chris Yates, the headmaster of one of Lloyd's old schools, St Hilda’s, said, "There's no recollection of her ever being persecuted, she is lying and no teacher can ever recall any incidents where Danielle was bullied. In fact I’ve been led to believe by her former friends that the opposite is true." She entered competitions in and around Liverpool. Upon finishing school , she decided against continuing a career in chemistry and biology to pursue a dual career in modelling and as a beautician specializing in massage. She is a qualified nail technician.

Just as she was beginning her modelling career, Lloyd was attacked by her boyfriend at the time. She was dragged from her moving car after an argument with him, suffering abrasions and severe bruising to her body and losing most of her hair. Lloyd later said of the attack: "Deep down you can’t forget what’s happened no matter how much counselling you have. You blame yourself and tell yourself you deserve it – I was given help when I most needed it and I want to be able to help others now. Too many women (1 in 4) suffer domestic violence at some time and support centres such as Women’s Aid aren’t able to answer all of the calls due to being under resourced. I'll always do all that I can to help raise awareness and help people. Being in a violent relationship, you are constantly living in fear – and that’s no way for anyone to live their life."

Finals 16 in Australia's Next Top Model revealed

THE claws have been sharpened and more back stabbing is ahead, with the search for the next modelling superstar well underway.

Hosted by Sarah Murdoch, Australia's Next Top Model is bigger than ever this year, with an increased number of finalists ready to strut their stuff and prove they have what it takes to make it in the high-stress world of modelling.

A total of 16 girls have been chosen this year - compared to 13 in past years - to appear in the upcoming sixth season, premiering on Fox8 in July.

Priscilla Leighton Clark, the founder of Priscilla's Model Management, says she's always so impressed by the girls discovered by the show.

"This season we have really been blown away by the calibre of models entering the competition," said Clark, a guest judge on past series.

"The momentum has built and Australian girls now understand that you can have a wonderful international modelling career from being discovered through the show.

"We are particularly excited this year to see such a broad mix of girls in the finals and, as a result, have had to increase the talent pool to see who will surface as this year's winner."

Finalists range in age from 16 to 20 with three contestants from NSW, five from Victoria, three from Queensland, three from South Australia and three from Western Australia.

Over the next few months the cameras will follow the contestants as they undertake various modelling assignments and tasks designed to turn them into model material.

Australian fashion designer Alex Perry and model-turned-TV personality Charlotte Dawson will be again be joined on the judging panel by international fashion photographer Jez Smith, who will reprise his judging role from season three.

America's Next Top Model season 12 winner is Teyona! International destination was Brazil. Season 12 was underwhelming compared to previous installments.

Aminat was clearly robbed of her victory. She was the obvious choice to win, the most 'model like' of all the contestants. Aminat was constantly compared to Naomi Campbell, the body type, the walk, she was many times termed the 'perfect' model. Aminat, in her makeover, was even given a Naomi Campbell style of hair - a long, straight weave.

Allison, the doe-eyed, or actually more like crazy-eyed model, stayed too long in the competition and should have never made top 2. Allison's walk was terrible, her stare in pictures was always the same 'question mark' and she didn't actually improve as much as other girls week to week.
